Christina Aguilera
Christina Aguilera is a giant for a little person. She’ll never intimidate anyone with her slender (yet noticeably enhanced) figure, but her powerful voice and influence have left her head and shoulders above her musical peers, with the exception of one person, Britney Spears.
Britney Spears, despite Christina’s claims, is her rival. They both share the same pedigree, being part of the Mickey Mouse Club that also featured Justin Timberlake and J.C. Chasez of *N Sync, and Keri Russell of Felicity fame. Their rise to fame and success occurred almost in parallel and their dominance of the teen pop market inevitably will lead to continuous comparisons.
But while Britney is the more successful of the two, music industry insiders all consider Christina Aguilera the artist with the best long-term prospects because she relies more on her voice and less on dance and image.
